Dolly Parton’s Face Is Officially on a NASCAR Car Associated Press

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Tyler Reddick is the biggest Dolly Parton fan in professional auto racing. At least you’d think so by taking one look at his paint scheme for this Saturday’s Alsco 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The Richard Childress Racing driver’s No. 2 Chevy Camaro race car will be hard to miss on April 6. Not only will the car be plastered in bright pink and white, with Dolly Parton’s face smack dab in the middle of the hood, but it will also feature advertising for more than a half-dozen Dollywood attractions, including Dollywood’s Splash Country, DreamMore Resort & Spa, and Imagination Library. Of course, Parton’s record company, Dolly Records, will also be featured front and center.

“It’s an honor to represent Dolly Parton and her variety of businesses on our No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway,” said Reddick, according to RCR Racing.

“Dolly is an icon and has had a lot of success in her career, which is something I admire while trying to build my own success in NASCAR. Hopefully, we can take Dolly and the No. 2 Camaro to Victory Lane this weekend in her home state of Tennessee. I think that would be really special for everyone who is a fan of hers.”

Now, Reddick may not be working 9 to 5 on Saturday, but with his hands at 10 and 2 behind the wheel of his tricked-out Camaro, he’ll definitely have lady luck on his side in the form of a nine-time Grammy Award winner and country music icon. But, with Reddick currently sitting at first place in the standings, the 2018 Xfinity Series champion likely won’t need any luck come race day.
