Early in the second stage, Daniel Suarez put on quite the show when something went wrong with the front right wheel. The caution flag came out and Suarez entered the pits leaving a trail of sparks behind him.

When he got into the pits, his crew had to lift the front of the car to jack it up and you can see the fire still smoldering on the front bodywork.

An awesome sight to be sure, but not what the rookie was hoping for. He would not return to the race and he’ll hope for better luck next week in the last race of the season.
