Danica Patrick woke up this morning to some fabulous news, but it looks like we’re the ones being treated to a holiday surprise.
Patrick woke up to an article from USA Today, advertising her new book as one of, “5 new books you won’t want to miss this week.” The book titled Pretty Intense, covers a wide variety of topics ranging from workout plans, recipes, and motivation.

Merry Christmas me this morning!!!!!! This makes my heart so happy to see this on @usatoday! I worked my ass off (litteraly😜) for this book! Being healthy is never out of style, so pick your copy up and get mental tips, workouts, and recipes. When I wrote the caption on the cover, I meant it. It will absolutely change your life. 💥
She posted a screen shot from USA Today to her Instagram this morning expressing her excitement to see the article.

Patrick walked away from the racing world last month, but is still hoping to run in two final races next season if she can find rides for them. On her list are the Daytona 500 and the Indy 500, both are races she’s extremely familiar with. Her highest finish in the Daytona 500 was eighth in 2013, while her highest Indy 500 finish was third in 2009.
