Dale Earnhardt Jr. tells a hilarious, embarrassing story about his first win at Richmond

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is racing for the last time at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, and he has many fond memories of racing at the track.

Junior has won at Richmond three different times, and his first win came during his rookie season. It was his second career win, and he also had to pass his dad to earn the victory. But that's not why he remembers the race so well. In a video he released on Twitter, Earnhardt said the win was so memorable because of how badly he had to go to the bathroom.

"We got by Dad pretty quickly and just ended up beating everybody to the finish line over a few handful of laps," Earnhardt said.

"I didn't know it until I pulled into Victory Lane, and I had to go to the bathroom really, really bad - No. 2. The tradition in Victory Lane is you pull in, they tell you to get out of the car when they're ready for you, when TV's ready to come back from commercial. And you get out and you have this real yet semi-mock celebration 'cause you've had to wait for it, wait for the OK from TV.

"Well I got to Victory Lane and said, 'I'm getting out. I gotta use the bathroom. Y'all just sit tight. I gotta do this now.' Ten minutes later, everybody's in Victory Lane kind of standing there like, 'Where'd the driver go?' And I come back to Victory Lane, and I'm like, 'All right, I'm ready to celebrate! Let's do this!'"

Earnhardt is looking to duplicate that success on Saturday in his last regular season race as a full-time driver. He needs a win to make the postseason in his final season.
