Dale Earnhardt Jr. is going to get a lot of air time now that he is transitioning into his broadcasting role. In addition to his NASCAR coverage, NBC has plans for him to help with Super Bowl coverage, and he also has a role for the Winter Olympics.

A report from Hollywood Life indicated that executives at ABC wanted Earnhardt to compete on Dancing with the Stars now that he has more free time. Michael Waltrip competed on the show, and Earnhardt would be a huge get for the program.

However, Earnhardt responded to Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal with a GIF of Michael Keaton that says it all:

That's a hard pass from Dale Jr.

The report also indicated that DWTS is interested in Colin Kaepernick, so perhaps they'll have more luck with him.

It would be fun to see Earnhardt compete on the show, but he doesn't seem ready to show the world his dancing skills. Yet.
