The No. 3 Sun Drop scheme has graced numerous diecast cars. Now it will take over a pair of leisure shoes.
JR Motorsports announced on Friday a collaboration with HeyDude Shoes. This deal brings the Sun Drop scheme to a pair of the Wally line of footwear. The shoes feature a green base with the No. 3 and Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s signature. There are smaller logos for Sun Drop and JR Motorsports.
The Wally NASCAR x Dale Earnhardt Jr. shoes are currently available for preorder with a release date of Aug. 13. They will cost $74.99.

The 15-time Most Popular Driver is not the only person in NASCAR to have signature shoes courtesy of HeyDude. Another pair -- also available for $74.99 -- features a blue HendrickCars.com scheme, Kyle Larson's number, and his name. The shoes feature associate sponsor logos for Valvoline and Sunoco Fuel.
One of Larson's teammates, Chase Elliott, gets in on the fun with his own pair of signature shoes. Elliott's shoes feature the NAPA Auto Parts scheme with associate sponsor logos for multiple companies.
One interesting detail is that a Hooters logo sits on the side of the shoe, so the design process took place before Hendrick Motorsports parted ways with the sponsor.
Two NASCAR-centric shoes round out the lineup of crossover products. One asphalt-colored pair features large NASCAR logos on the sides. The multicolored NASCAR stripes are on the shoe's tongue.
The other pair is bright with some distinct Florida flair. These shoes are mostly Buttercream with a checkerboard pattern and sunset colors adding accents. The shoes feature logos for Daytona International Speedway and checkerboard shoelaces.
A pair of shoes is nothing too out of the ordinary for Earnhardt, whose name and sponsor logos have been featured prominently on an astounding amount of products. Some were expected, such as diecast cars, hats, and t-shirts.
Other items were a little out of the ordinary.
The list of items associated with the NASCAR Hall of Famer includes a red Gillette Mach III razor, a Cabbage Patch Kids doll, a Dremel tool, and a KFC bucket.
