Sunday marks only the second time in Bowman's career that he has started a Homestead-Miami Speedway Cup Series race inside the top 10. His previous best starting position at the track was eighth in 2020.

Josh Berry, the winner of last weekend's race, qualified second with a lap of 32.055 seconds. This is the third time he has qualified on the front row in his Cup Series career. He started second in last season's spring race at Bristol Motor Speedway and the June race at Nashville Superspeedway.

"I think, for us, we want to be in the top 10," Berry said ahead of Saturday's qualifying session. "We've been able to do that the last couple of weeks. We qualified 11th here last year, which gives me some optimism as well, so hopefully we can execute that today."

Berry was followed by Noah Gragson (32.101 seconds), Chase Briscoe (32.116), and William Byron (32.134). Byron is the only driver with a Cup Series win at Homestead-Miami Speedway to qualify inside the top 10 for this season's race.

The rest of the top 10 featured Ryan Blaney (32.141), John Hunter Nemechek (32.171), Austin Cindric (32.193), Bubba Wallace (32.211), and AJ Allmendinger (32.214).

Tyler Reddick, the defending winner at Homestead, qualified 20th with a lap of 32.350 seconds. 2023 winner Christopher Bell qualified 16th with a lap of 32.309 seconds. Bell has never started inside the top 10 at the South Florida track.

Pre-race coverage for Sunday's Cup Series race starts at 1:30 p.m. ET on FS1. Race coverage continues at 3 p.m. ET on FS1. The green flag will wave at 3:12 p.m. ET.
