NTT IndyCar Series veteran Conor Daly will make his return to NASCAR competition this summer and fall with three starts.

Daly will reunite with Niece Motorsports and he will drive the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado in the Craftsman Truck Series. Daly's first race will be at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday, July 19. He will return to the No. 44 at Kansas Speedway on Sept. 27 and Homestead-Miami Speedway on Oct. 26.

Daly will work with crew chief Wally Rogers, who has a Truck Series win with Ron Hornaday Jr. and five Xfinity wins with a variety of drivers.

"I couldn't be more excited to get back into a truck with Niece Motorsports," Daly said in a statement. "Al Niece and Cody Efaw have always been great to me and supportive of my Indy 500 efforts as well over the years as we've got to know each other.

"We've been working on putting a program together for a while and I'm happy we could finally work out the details to go racing together once again. I have a lot to learn but I want to compete and I know these guys will give me a great chance at that. I am extremely thankful to have some great partners in Power Plus to make this happen. Everyone from Power Plus have been super willing to help out when I need it most and I love representing for them."

Daly has three previous Truck Series starts with Niece Motorsports, dating back to his series debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2020. 2024 marks the first time in his career that he will make multiple Truck starts in a single season.

"Conor has been great to work with every time he's stepped into one of our trucks," said Cody Efaw, Niece Motorsports General Manager, in a statement.

"It's been fun to see his interest in NASCAR grow since he made that first start with our team in Las Vegas a few years ago. Now that we have him secured for multiple races this year, I think that will give him a chance to go out there and learn each week to get better for his upcoming starts."

Daly's time in NASCAR also includes two starts in the Xfinity Series and three in the Cup Series. He qualified for the 2023 Daytona 500 while driving for TMT Racing and finished 29th.

Later that season, he became one of 29 drivers in racing history to race in both the Daytona 500 and Indy 500 in the same year.

While this reunion with Niece Motorsports will mark Daly's first national NASCAR series start this season, he competed in a stock car in mid-June.

He joined Rette Jones Racing for the ARCA Menards Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and finished eighth in his series debut.
