Connor Zilisch has added a new sponsor as he continues his rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He has joined forces with Blues Hog Barbecue Sauce.
Blues Hog will take over the No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro for three Xfinity Series events. The blue-and-red sauce scheme will make its debut at Texas Motor Speedway on May 3 as Zilisch makes his debut at the 1.5-mile track.
The Blues Hog scheme will return for the trip to Nashville Superspeedway on May 31. It will then close out the schedule at Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 27.

"It's great to welcome a new partner like Blues Hog to JR Motorsports and to our No. 88 Chevrolet," Zilisch said. "I think that the car looks great, and I can't wait to get on the track with them in a couple weeks. It's going to be a great time."
Blues Hog was founded by Barbecue Hall of Famer Bill Arnold, who passed away in late 2021. Arnold sold Blues Hog to Tim Scheer, the man who developed the Gateway Drum Smoker, in 2015.
Scheer has since taken the company to new heights while winning dozens of barbecue championship titles. The company has added to its sauce and rub lineup, and it has developed a championship-quality charcoal.
Now, Blues Hog will join forces with Zilisch, a rising driver who has already scored five wins in the ARCA Menards Series and two wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Zilisch will also make his return to the Cup Series in May while competing in the longest race on the schedule, the Coca-Cola 600.
"The fastest growing BBQ Sauce company is proud to join the fastest race team in the industry with JR Motorsports," said Blues Hog owner Tim Scheer in a statement.
"We're excited to partner with the competitive spirit of motorsports while bringing the award-winning heat and flavor of Blues Hog BBQ sauce into the spotlight, creating a fun and memorable connection with fans of both worlds. Stay Saucey!"
