Having won one championship, Christopher Bell goes for a second -- in one weekend

Christopher Bell is going for two this weekend.

Bell won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Friday night. And he's on board to help Joe Gibbs Racing take the owners championship in Xfinity on today. Not totally unfamiliar territory for Bell as he was in the Championship 4 for trucks last year, too.

Bell was ecstatic after his win Friday night.

"To be able to do this for all of the guys at Kyle Busch Motorsports and to win the championship for a team that deserves the championship, words just can't describe my feelings right now," Bell, who scored a series-high five victories this season, told NASCAR.com.

It will be a quick turnaround for the 22-year-old Bell. Flag drops for the Xfinity championship at 3:30 p.m., just about 16 hours from when the truck series race ends.

Bell has had a good run in Xfinity as well. In 7 races, he has 1 win and 5 top-10 finishes. Bell will drive fulltime in Xfinity in 2018.
