NASCAR brings down the hammer on two teams after discovering violations

|

Wow!

NASCAR  has ejected the crew and car chief for Austin Dillon for the rest of the weekend because of a rear suspension violation, ESPN is reporting. And, since Mike Harmon's car failed prequalifying four time, his crew chief has also been ejected,

As part of a new at-track penalty model ... RCR No. 3 Xfinity (ADillon) has had its crew chief (Nick Harrison) and car chief ejected for rest of weekend for a rear suspension violation. ... Mike Harmon crew chief Robert Scott ejected for car failing prequa tech 4 times.

This is all part of NASCAR's new at-track penalty model, and we'll watch all weekend to see if any other teams suffer the same fate.
