Aspen Dental has been a sponsor for Stewart Haas Racing and Danica Patrick's No. 10 Ford since 2015. But with Patrick out at SHR, Aspen Dental has reportedly decided to end its partnership with the team.

Even more troubling, Aspen Dental is reevaluating its NASCAR deal, too.

The news was reported by the Sports Business Journal in a tweet.

There's no word as to the length of the sponsorship agreement, or what it's worth. But it's a blow because Aspen started out sponsoring four races and more than doubled that commitment this season.

But as ESPN noted, many sponsor contracts have a clause that allow it to get out of the agreement in the event of a driver change.

Aspen Dental has a new chief marketing officer that's re-evaluating how the company spends its dollars, the Sports Business Journal (subscription required) reported.
