Alex Bowman and William Byron will be teammates next season at Hendrick Motorsports, and they’re both a part of the youth movement that’s been sweeping over NASCAR.
Byron, 20, will be the youngest full time driver in the Cup Series next season, and Bowman took the opportunity to make fun of his age with a hilarious tweet where he posed with a child and pretended it was Byron.
Give the little guy another 15 years or so and he might be a threat to Bowman on the racetrack.
Byron will drive the No. 24 car next season, while Bowman is replacing Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the No. 88.
Expect plenty more age jokes involving Byron in the upcoming season — even from his own teammates.
