Michael Shank Racing is entering the new year with a fresh new look for its cars in 2018.

MSR recently announced its lineup for the next season for its two Acura NSX GT3s. A.J. Allmendinger will share the No. 86 with a handful of other drivers next year, including Katherine Legge, Alvaro Parente and Trent Hindman. Their ride is gray and has an interesting design along the side.

The No. 93 car will be shared by Lawson Aschenbach, Justin Marks, Mario Farnbacher and Côme Ledogar.

Team owner Mike Shank said in a statement via Motorsport that he thinks the design looks even better than he anticipated.

"We had some awesome designs last year, but this season we are not carrying the Acura branding so that gave us a bit of a clean slate to come up with something all-new, and when we saw the renderings for the driver suits it was something that we wanted to go even further with and put on the cars," Shank said. "It came out even better than we were hoping it would! We are all packed and ready to get to work down in Daytona and hopefully everyone is as excited about these cars as we are."

The new designs will debut at the Roar Before the 24 at Daytona International Speedway on Jan. 5. The Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona is set for Jan. 27-28.
