The first generation Ford Bronco has always been one of my favorite vintage trucks. Its tiny wheel base, four-wheel drive and lifted suspension makes it very capable off-road and over the years it has established itself as a respectable classic with somewhat of a cult following.

One thing that has always interested me has been the price of the 1st gen Bronco. Over the last decade or so, we've seen old SUVs/trucks climb in price very rapidly. Vehicles like the old Woody Grand Wagoneer, the 90's Land Rover Defender, and even some offerings from Toyota. But the rock solid, reliable Bronco has always been a pretty good value and never saw that super rapid increase in value.

In the last five years, that has all changed and it doesn't show any signs of letting up. My latest LegitStreetCars video explores a 1969 Ford Bronco that a good friend of mine just picked up for $22,500 in excellent restored condition. In the video, I show you all of its cool modifications and custom touches including a very interesting Tweety Bird theme to go alone with its bright yellow paint. I get stuck in a rain storm with no top, I see if going 70 mph is a smart thing to do in an old off-roading truck, and we talk about why these trucks are going up in value, because according to an article by Bloomberg, these things have doubled in price in the last 5 years.
