For those of you who are not familiar with the epic motorsports competition tractor pulling, we're hear to show you what you've been missing out on. Tractor pulling is essentially a strength competition for farm equipment that occurs not just in the United States, but all over the world. The object of tractor pulling is for the modified tractors to haul a massive sled along a 35-foot wide, 330-foot long track, with the winner being the tractor that pulls the sled the farthest.

Sounds pretty awesome, doesn't it? Not all that surprisingly, folks love to pour tons of power and torque into their own custom tractors and pit them against others to see who has got the mightier machine. Speaking of mighty machines, feast your eyes on the Slædehunden from straight outta Denmark. When you see what this thing can do, you'll probably see what all that fuss over tractor pulling is all about.

Whoa! Talk about an absolute monster. Just check out the specs on this things. Able to churn out between 3,500-4,000 horsepower, the Slædehunden is equipped with two V12 transmash diesel motors pulled right from a T55 tank.

On top of that, this beast also has four turbochargers and one Keith Black hemi 526 CI gas motor. In layman's terms, that's one ridiculously powerful tractor.

No doubt, this thing is one souped-up behemoth that could go toe-to-toe with the best of them. There's no arguing that. Though, part of me is really curious to see how the Slædehunden would stack up against a good ol' fashioned American-made John Deere tractor. Someone needs to make this match-up happen!
