The 2017 Ram Power Wagon has taken the title of best off-road pickup from the Ford Raptor by including key features that are vital to a successful off-roader.

The power wagon has old school solid axles front and rear with more high tech electronic lockers. To assist articulation, the front sway bar can be electronically disconnected and the entire suspension geometry is set up to make the most of the truck's 14 inches of clearance.

To aid power delivery, the truck has a legitimate "4-low" setting that, in addition to allowing controlled crawling with low gearing ratios, tells the engine to smooth out accelerator inputs and raise the idle speed.

The cherry on top is an integrated winch, taking care of the first upgrade that would usually force owners to turn to the aftermarket.
