Fiat Chrysler has unveiled another monster: the 2019 RAM 1500 Classic Warlock.
This FCA reprise pays tribute to the heavy-duty '76-'79 Dodge D10 Warlock, which was a part of the luxury group's "pre-customized line" at the time and was referred to as an "adult toy" that comprises extreme modifications of simpler models. Alongside the aptly-named Macho Power Wagon, it appealed to the younger generation with its oak trim, gold-accented stripes, and chrome-plated running boards.
This time, it carries an ultra-aggressive profile sporting semi-gloss black aluminum wheels, dark bezel projector headlights, one-inch suspension lift, wheel flares, and Warlock-themed decals on both sides.

Specifications include the choice of two engines: 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 and a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, delivering 360 and 395 horsepower respectively. Look for it in Quad Cab and Crew Cab body styles.
"The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock is proof positive that value never goes out of style," said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram at Fiat Chrysler. "With its sinister monochromatic exterior, award-winning interior and great price, this mean machine is certain to resonate positively with consumers."
Oddly, the new Warlock is missing many of the elements that made the original pickup truck great -- most notably its golden pinstripes, replaced with an all-black scheme, along with oak sideboards and side steps. A recent press release also pales in comparison to the excitement of Warlock's 1977 magazine advertisement, which calls out the pickup for "playing as hard as it works -- out to make the good times roll."
Look for the Dodge Warlock to go on sale by the end of March with a starting price of $37,040, which also includes destination fees.
