Dodge is going after the Ford Raptor with a beast of its own

|

Look out Ford, Dodge is coming for you.

Dodge's Ram Rebel will be released later this year as a competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor.

We wrote earlier that Raptor has a price of $65,000 because of it's crazy features. The Rebel isn't going to be inexpensive either, with a projected starting cost of $55,000, according to Car and Driver. The Rebel has a supercharged, intercooled, 6.2 liter hemi V-8 straight from the Hellcat, with an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. It spits out 575 HP.

It won't be out until later this year, so we'll have to see which monster is best. And, that will be fun.
