Cole Custer celebrates a win at Portland International Raceway.

NASCAR at Portland: How to watch Saturday's Xfinity race

The NASCAR Xfinity Series is at Portland International Raceway for the first of two consecutive road course weekends. Here's how to watch all of the action.

Green flag time: The command to fire engines will be at 4:38 p.m. ET. The green flag will wave at 4:46 p.m. ET.

Practice and qualifying: The Saturday schedule out west will begin at 11:30 a.m. ET. Xfinity teams will head onto the 1.967-mile Oregon road course for their lone practice session. There will be no TV coverage of this session.

The Xfinity drivers will then qualify at noon ET. FS1 will air the session as drivers compete for the pole. Sheldon Creed won the pole for last season's Xfinity race at Portland while Cole Custer started second.

Pre-race coverage: Once the teams set the starting lineup, they will prepare for the 75-lap race. Fox Sports will set the stage for the afternoon of racing with NASCAR RaceDay on FS1 at 4 p.m. ET.

Race coverage: FS1 will air the Xfinity Series race at 4:30 p.m. ET. This is one of two Xfinity races remaining on the Fox Sports portion of the NASCAR schedule.

Stages: The race will consist of three stages. Unlike last season's road course races, there will be a caution between the stages. The first stage will end on Lap 25. The second stage will end on Lap 50.

Weather: There should be no concerns regarding weather. The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for cloudy skies and a high of 70 degrees. There is no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity Series race.

Past winners: The NASCAR Xfinity Series has only raced at Portland International Raceway two times. AJ Allmendinger won the inaugural Xfinity race at Portland in 2022 after leading six laps. He overcame a rain-related issue in which he slid off the track before taking the green flag.

Cole Custer won last season's Xfinity race at Portland. He started on the front row, won stage 2, and led five laps. This was his first of three race wins last season. Justin Allgaier finished top five in both Xfinity races at Portland.

Allmendinger, Custer, and Allgaier will all be in the lineup Saturday at Portland. Allgaier has one win this season and a secure spot in the playoffs. Allmendinger and Custer still seek their first wins.
