Legacy Motor Club lands new multi-year sponsor

The full-time Legacy Motor Club Cup Series cars will have a new sponsor as part of a multi-year deal.

Massey Motor Freight, a Texas-based delivery service, has signed on to be a primary sponsor for both Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek. The company's first primary race will be the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway (June 30, 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC).

Massey will be a full-season associate sponsor on Nemechek's No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE for each year of the partnership. Additionally, Massey will become the official trucking partner of Legacy Motor Club as its trucks will pull the team's haulers to each event on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule.

"This is really exciting for Legacy MC", said co-owner Jimmie Johnson in a statement. "Massey trucks are top of the line, and their mantra of 'Hustle Hard, Stay Humble' really aligns with our values at the Club. They are passionate about trucking, racing, and their drivers. This is the start of a great partnership."

Legacy MC is currently in its second full-time season after Johnson joined forces with Petty GMS Motorsports owners Richard Petty and Maury Gallagher.

This season's lineup includes Jones as the full-time driver in the No. 43 Toyota Camry XSE and Nemechek as the full-time driver in the No. 42 Toyota Camry XSE. Johnson has signed on to drive the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE in nine Cup events.

Massey Motor Freight is the second company to join Legacy MC this season as part of a multi-year deal. Back in January, the Cup Series organization announced a multi-year partnership with Dollar Tree and Family Dollar.

This deal included sponsorship in all 38 races while supporting Jones, Nemechek, and Johnson. The seven-time champion's schedule with Dollar Tree and Family Dollar included Dover on April 28, Kansas on Sept. 29, and Las Vegas on Oct. 20.
