Police say there was a baby in the back seat of the car when she allegedly did this

Another day, another story about an adult driving under the influence with a child in the car.

The latest example comes out of Boca Raton, Florida.

According to PalmBeachPost.com, 27-year-old Elyse Tilley was driving her red Nissan Versa on North Dixie Highway on Tuesday, Oct. 10th, when she hit the back of a black Hyundai Sante Fe while attempting to switch lanes.

Police found an 11-month-old boy in the back of the Nissan after arriving on the scene. The boy had been riding in a seat that wasn't properly secured, according to Local10.com.

The kid was taken to West Boca Regional Hospital where he was treated for minor bumps on his head.

The young boy was not identified in the police report, nor was his family. Tilley served as the child's nanny.

Speaking of Tilley, while her roadside breath tests registered .000 both times, police said they did find multiple bottles of prescription pills in Tilley's car, including Lorazepam, according to CBS12.com.

Tilley ended up being charged with child neglect, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and DUI causing property damage.

She was released the next day on a $12,000 bond.
