Basically since its inception, Hollywood has been fueled by famous people who: 1) have too much money on their hands and 2) are extreme thrill seekers. Thankfully, not all actors have resorted to the more harmful excesses to get by, but have turned to the world of collecting and riding motorcycles to get in their adrenaline fix.
There are dozens and dozens of impressive celebrity motorcycle collections, but in this video by GQ, Michael Prichinello, a motorcycle expert and founder of Classic Car Club Manhattan, breaks down the bikes of such celebrities as Keanu Reeves (ARCH KRGT-1, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and 2019 Custom ARCH), David Beckham (Confederate HF131 Hellcat, Triumph Bonneville and 93 Inch Knucklehead), and Bradley Cooper (Triumph Thruxton, Ducati 1199 Panigale, KTM 1190 RC8, and Ducati XDiavel). Who do you think has the most impressive collection?
Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Other Celebrity Bikers
Perhaps the most famous adrenaline freak in Hollywood (the guy still does his own stunts at 57), Tom Cruise has a not-no-surprisingly impressive motorcycle collection, including a Honda Crf450x, a BMW R9 T Scrambler, and a Ducati 999R. The Mission Impossible star strongly favors his $100,000 Vyrus 987 C3 4V, though. Probably because it’s not only lightweight, but also boasts a 1.2-liter engine and can reach speeds of 209 MPH.
Brad Pitt, again not that surprisingly, is not just a big-screen badass, but one in real life as well. Some of the models in his bike collection include a BMW 1200GS and a Ecosse Titanium, but probably one of his wildest additions is a World War II Nazi motorbike that cost him around $400,000 (!).
Ewan McGregor is also an avid motorcyclist, having even hosted such TV series has Long Way Round and Long Way Down with his friend Charley Boorman. A brand ambassador for Moto Guzzi, McGregor has a special love for classic bikes.
George Clooney is another A-lister known for his extensive collection of custom bikes, especially for his wide variety of Harley-Davidsons. However, following a near-fatal motorcycle crash in Italy back in 2018, it’s safe to say he’s probably not riding quite as much as he used to.
Pop singer Pink has been a big fan of motorcycles for quite some time, a love she shares with her former motorcrosser husband, Carey Hart. Her bike of choice is her Hinckley Triumph T100 Bonneville. TV star Hugh Laurie, with such bikes as a Yamaha XJR1300s and Honda CBR600RRs in his collection, is also especially partial to his Bonneville.
