Trucker Throws Caution to the Wind and Goes Drifting on Snow-Covered Highway

If you live in an area that tends to get hit with its fair share of cold weather, you know that winter driving sucks big time. Massive amounts of snow and sleet can lead to questionable visibility, while throwing in freezing cold temperatures on top of all of that nasty precipitation can lead to some pretty ridiculous icy road conditions.

Most drivers will usually take it easy in those sorts of conditions. But others, who fall in a much smaller group, enjoy turning it up to 11 and throwing caution to the wind with their driving. These are the wild cards. Take this semi truck driver from out of Moncton, Canada, for instance. When faced with some serious winter weather on the highway, the driver decided to make lemonade out of lemons and pulled off some crazy drifting moves. Don't try this at home, kids!

I don't know if this guy was drunk or just bored, but he's lucky he didn't end up in a ditch somewhere with the big rig completely flipped over on top of him. It's pretty clear, though, that this wasn't his first rodeo on wild winter roads.

I don't know about you, but if I saw this going down in front of me, I wouldn't stick around to enjoy the show. I damn sure wouldn't film any of it. I'd get off at that next exit ramp quicker than you could say "Get off at that next exit ramp."

Because I don't care how good you are at semi drifting. Even the pros can mess up sometimes, and I wouldn't want to be around when that happened. But, hey, it does make for a pretty sweet video.
