One millisecond slower. That's all it would have taken for the woman in the above video and her baby to have been done for. It really doesn't get much closer than this.
In this shocking dashcam footage from out of Ha Long City on Vietnam's northern coast, a semi trailer is shown careening through traffic and smashing into three cars, leaving them all extremely damaged. Had she not reacted as quickly as she did to get out of harm's way, the woman and her infant child could have been among the wreckage.
After seeing footage of the incident, it really is a miracle that no one else was injured in the massive wreck.

A motorist in the silver Toyota Vios also managed to escape from his car unharmed moments after the crash.
Three cars were severely damaged, one of which was thrown into a roadside pit, newspaper Kenh14 reported.
No one was injured in the incident but there were traffic delays while the chaos was cleared.
Police are investigating the collision.
Now, it's one thing to be in a car and come away from that crash without being injured. But, to be on foot and avoid the accident entirely? That's just on another level of luck mixed with skill. I've heard that in especially dangerous situations, a certain amount of extra adrenaline kicks in that basically gives you superhero abilities. If that's as true as they say it is, I'm pretty sure the woman in the video turned into The Flash for a few seconds.
As one commenter put it, she "gives Usain Bolt a run for his money!" Hey, until Usain Bolt is shown on video dodging a high-speed semi crash with a quickness, I'm going to have to 100% agree with that.
