As we slowly ease our way from spring into the summer, the urge to get out into the sun and ride your motorcycle is only going to grow stronger. You can only fight it for so long before you cave, but if you happen to be in the market, or you're just looking to upgrade to one of the new bikes, let me offer a pretty cool suggestion.

The 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 is something I would consider a perfect example of a well-executed modern classic. The British motorcycle was first created back in 1959, and today it still maintains the timeless styling that many have fallen in love with over the years. It's a fantastic platform for those who have interests in café racer bikes, and there's no doubt that it rides as good as it looks. If you some further convincing, check out this overview video, and we've got even more detail on the bike below.

2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 Specs

The new Bonneville has some impressive features. As the name suggests, the bike boasts a 1200cc high-torque parallel-twin engine with an even lighter crankshaft. That makes this thing capable of producing 80 horsepower and 77 lb-ft of peak torque. The engine is so efficient that it actually exceeds Euro 5 requirements, giving it lower emissions and much better fuel economy than the previous generations. You also get the added luxury of fuel injection and a ride-by-wire throttle, giving it a much better response when you want some power.

As for the styling, the base package comes available in a silver and red color scheme, or you can opt for the gray and black paint scheme with a brown seat on the Bonneville T120 black package. The bike comes with LED headlights and tail lights, a polished throttle body, lightweight 32-spoke wheels, and it's topped off with stylish touch with the engine covers and fuel tank badges.

Lots of goodies come included, such as two different selectable riding modes (road and rain), multi-function LCD display, traction control, cruise control, a USB charging port under the seat, and even Brembo brake calipers in the front. We know the bike has some power, but it's also good to know that you've got quality brakes underneath you when you need them.

With the modern technology that it comes equipped with, it makes you wonder where the price tag sits. Amazingly, it's not as bad as you might think when you consider what you get. Both the T120 and the T120 black start off with a price of $12,050. Modifications to these motorcycles is also highly supported, so you can actually fully customize your perfect bike while ordering at the dealership, but you should expect the price to reflect this.

Keep in mind, Triumph Motorcycles has a wide variety of Bonneville types. I personally like the T120, but I strongly urge you to check out the other options available because their pretty spectacular. Aside from the T120, you can also purchase the Bonneville T100, Bonneville Bobber, Bonneville Speedmaster, and the Bonneville Street Twin, or Street Twin Gold Line. Each of these have similar components, but do a great job at suiting your individual desires.

Start your motorcycling season off right, and check these models out. You might find yourself joining the Bonneville family, and that's a choice that you very likely will not regret. Then again, having owned multiple Triumphs myself, I may be a little bit biased.
