Here's a prime example of something you shouldn't do: build an intersection with no stop signs. People are dumb, often they are less intelligent whey they're behind the wheel of a car, so making a four way intersection with no sort of signal is incredibly ill conceived. Drivers won't figure it out. They'll just keep ramming each other until the end of the world.
