Brad Keselowski's theory that Toyota drivers were sandbagging during qualifying for the Pure Michigan 400 were not well received by Toyota drivers.

NASCAR vice president and chief racing development officer Steve O'Donnell addressed the claims during his appearance on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, and he said Keselowski's comments were "crazy."
"We feel comfortable in how we review each of the cars and we've got a process in place," O'Donnell said.
"A lot of politicking going on out there, and I think that will continue as it gets closer to the playoffs. There's a lot on the line, a lot of different winners, and that's actually kind of cool to see because people care and want to do all they can to win."
O'Donnell brushed off the sandbagging rumors, and while he didn't call out Keselowski by name, it's clear who he was referring to when he mentioned the rumors.
The Toyota's were fast again at Michigan, but Kyle Larson's Chevrolet won the race after a fantastic restart in overtime.
