Juan Pablo Montoya got penalized for being up to his old tricks at Daytona

Driving the number 6 Penske Acura, Juan Pablo Montoya has been putting on a show trying to make ground on his teammate. True to Montoya's form, though, he has had a few moments where he has been a bit too aggressive for the type of racing he is taking part in.

In the final two hours of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Montoya made some contact with the number 29 Audi that sent him skidding across the grass.

This time he wasn't given a free pass, and had to serve a drive-through penalty for the contact.

Montoya, traditionally an open wheel racer, spent time in NASCAR where he was also known more for his wrecks than his driving skill. He undoubtedly has plenty of it, but he is often too aggressive in longer races.
