Awesome POV Video Shows RC Car Driving Through Traffic

The things that people can do with remote-controlled cars these days are wild to say the least. For one, you've got this RC car that was outfitted with freakin' saw blades. Then, there's the Toyota Hilux RC truck that has insane off-road abilities. Someone even managed to put a mini V8 into an RC car, and let me tell you, it sounds pretty damn legit.

Even with all the different ways that RC cars can be modded and tricked out, you'd think that their limitations, size and speed capabilities primarily come to mind, would keep them from venturing out into real streets with real cars. Well, as you can see from the below video, this isn't true in the slightest.

In a video posted back in 2015, Turkish YouTuber Abdulkadir Enes K?ral took his souped-up RC car out into the streets of Istanbul for a nighttime ride of epic proportions. Outfitted with LED headlights and a quality GoPro camera, the remote-controlled dune buggy gives us 15 minutes of amazing footage that you wouldn't be able to get with any other vehicle.

You'd think that zipping around actual cars would've posed some problems for the RC car, but as Road and Track points out, there was likely a full-sized car trailing the remote-controlled one, giving it a safe passage through the city. Not a bad idea, since it would've been a real shame if the toy car's journey through Istanbul was cut short due to a passing truck absolutely obliterating it under its tires. That would've made for a much different video. Still one we'd probably watch, though.
