Demolition derbies can make for some seriously fun times. You get to hang out with friends or family and throw back a few cold ones, all while watching a bunch of cars smash into each other for hours on end until one is ultimately crowned the winner. What's not to love?
But things also have the potential to go south quickly. After all of the booze has been drank and all of the cars have stopped smashing into each other, the more inebriated spectators need something to do with all that adrenaline. Cue the drunken fighting.
Needless to say, it's all fun and games until someone starts throwing punches, and at one derby at the Schaghticoke county fair in upstate New York back in 2015, fists went flying in what eventually turned into a full-on demolition derby brawl. You can see how it all went down in the video below.

Although there isn't all that much backstory to the fight, according to the video's description, things escalated after a man's son lost the derby, and he took out his frustration on some nearby spectators. Talk about being a sore loser.
Nothing sucks the fun out of a demolition derby, or really any event for that matter, more than someone who takes it way too seriously. If everyone could have just walked away from the confrontation and maybe mixed in a few waters, this whole thing could have been avoided. But, then, I guess, we wouldn't have this mildly entertaining video to make fun of.
