There isn't a shortage of talent at Chip Ganassi Racing, and apparently they've just added another young driver to their roster.

CGR already has Jamie McMurray and Kyle Larson in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series. Now they'll be adding John Hunter Nemecheck (the son of veteran NASCAR driver Joe Nemecheck) to the Xfinity Series. John Hunter will be sharing duties in the No. 42 with Larson for the majority of the races, with an announcement expected as early as Tuesday, according to motorsport.com.

John Hunter will be driving in a car number that his father found success in, with his first win coming in 1999 in the No. 42. John Hunter has won five races over the course of his three years in the Camping World Truck series, while running the full schedule and making the playoffs in each of the last two.

In his past three seasons he has raced for Nemco Motorsports, a team owned by his family. Although he will be driving for CGR, he'll quite possibly still run some races for Nemco in the Truck Series. The team is currently securing sponsorship, as well as another driver.
