No Trailer, No Problem: This Boat Can Drive on Land

When it comes to transporting boats from water to land, there's typically one tried and true method: Using a trailer.

But, as you can see from the above video, one boater from out of Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts (we wonder what they get a lot of up there?) seemingly dodged the trailer-loading process altogether by utilizing a handy little set-up that allowed him to drive his boat on land. Now THAT'S how you make an exit.

Now, this is definitely cool as far as novelty goes, but it obviously raises just a few questions. As one YouTube commenter points out, "Boat drives on land...Wait, thats illegal." I mean, he's not wrong. Something tells me that once the guy made it to the end of the docking entrance and the camera stopped recording, that he went with a more traditional trailer option. Unless the dude has a death wish, and he actually tried venturing out into traffic in that thing.

Another commenter begged the important question, "And what's later?" What the guy really meant to say was, "How in the hell did this guy get his boat back home?" One commenter jokingly chimed in that "Wings come out and it takes off," but, again, in reality, he probably loaded that thing on an actual trailer with the help of his buddies.

For all we know, the loading process went off without a hitch (pun intended). Or, it could've gone terribly, embarrassingly wrong. That's the beauty of controlling the narrative by knowing when, and when not, to keep recording. Talk about smooth sailing.
