Looking for an unorthodox way to earn a boatload of cash? Thanks to a new Jeep promotion, all you need to do is follow these three easy steps:

  1. Buy a Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition
  2. Enter and win the Find Your Freedom contest
  3. Drive the Jeep Gladiator around for a year and rake in a salary of $100,000

Yep, you read that right. This isn't some sort of belated April Fools' prank. According to Tim Kuniskis, Head of Jeep Brand, North America, this promotion is as legit as it gets.

"Jeep Gladiator enables the one-of-a-kind Jeep lifestyle," Kuniskis said. "But to enjoy that lifestyle you need time. So we're offering that, in the form of one-year's salary, to the winner, so he or she can truly enjoy the outdoors, pursuing any adventure in their all-new Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition."

To officially enter the contest, you'll need to go to this site, watch the contest video, and follow the official rules. After filling out an entry form, you'll also need to upload a 60 to 75-second video explaining what you would do with a year off of work. When all the submissions are in, Wounded Warrior and US Army veteran Noah Galloway will go through them all and choose the ultimate winner.

Of course, the final step in the entrance process is actually to pre-order the Jeep Gladiator, which costs $62,310. But, you know what they say: You need to spend money to make money.

Even if you don't win the contest, you'll still be getting a Launch Edition Gladiator, which as you can see from the below specs, is quite the incredible vehicle.

Per Expedition Portal:

According to the press release, this truck will come equipped as a fully loaded Rubicon, plus forged aluminum Launch Edition badging, 17-inch Mid Gloss Black aluminum wheels, 33-inch Falken Wildpeak All-terrain tires, a wrapped instrument panel mid-bolster painted in Monaco silver, and black leather seats with red accent stitching. Buyers can have their choice of Black, Bright White, Billet Silver Metallic, Firecracker Red, or Granite Crystal Metallic paints, which will cover the truck as well as the body-color hardtop and fender flares.

Since this is a loaded Rubicon, it will include LED head and taillights, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a 9-speaker Alpine premium sound system, keyless entry, forward facing TrailCam camera, Blind-Spot and Cross-Path Detection, ParkSense Rear Park-Assist System, Advanced Brake Assist, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop, Trail Rail Cargo Management System, spray-in bed liner and Trailer Tow package. There will only be one motor option on the Launch Edition, the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 rated at 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, but transmissions will come in two flavors: six-speed manual or an optional eight-speed automatic.

But, enough reading now. Time to try your hand at a chance to win $100,000.
