[Video] 1932 Helicron, The Car That Turned Pedestrians Into Street Sausage

|

Back in the early 1930s car manufacturers hadn't quite figured out the difference between 'awesome' and 'ridiculous.' Case in point, the 1932 Helicron. This crazy sports car features a full sized propeller... from a plane. This car had quite a few downsides, not the least of which was the lack of a cabin and the fact that any collision with a pedestrian would be like tossing ground beef through an industrial wall fan. To test the full human-mulching capabilities of the Helicron, these amateur Mythbusters tossed hotdogs through the prop around the 3:40 minute mark.
