The Shelby name doesn’t screw around. You know it for a reason. It’s a name synonymous with muscle, performance, and one-of-a-kind style. For a time, it was also a name only attached to Mustangs. Now, the engineers at Ford have brought that Shelby brand of speed, torque, and horsepower and put it under the hood of the Ford Shelby F-150.

An absolute force to be reckoned with, the Shelby F-150 Super Snake is packed with a 750 horsepower, 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine. Needless to say, Shelby American is not messing around with this Shelby truck. As you can see in the below video, it’s an absolute beast on the drag strip.

Per Road and Track:

Unlike the Ford F-150 Raptor, the Super Snake is designed for on-road use only, as evidenced by its extremely low front air dam and side sills. Naturally, the Super Snake wears twin white racing stripes and a no lack of Shelby badging–lest you forget who builds this truck. Shelby also throws in a new tonneau cover, rear bumper, and interior badging.

Shelby says it aimed to improve the F-150’s handling for the Super Snake, and collaborated with Ford Performance and Borla for its development. The Super Snake is available with either rear- or four-wheel drive and each truck comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.

With a base price of nearly $100,000, the Shelby Super Snake probably isn’t a ride you’d be able to easily pick up as a Christmas gift after swinging by your local Ford dealer. That is, unless you’ve been saving up for a REALLY long time.
