Summer is in full swing, and it’s a hot one. Meaning if you’re not on, in, or around water 24/7, you’re probably going to have a bad time. Ok, unless you’re some sort marine creature or Aqua Man, you can’t exactly spend that much time chilling in that sweet, sweet H2O, but you know what I’m getting at.
Now, everyone loves a good swimming pool session, but, for me personally, there’s nothing quite as enjoyable hitting up a nearby lake and just flying over the water in some souped-up water toy.
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to even a pedal boat at the moment, so I have to live vicariously through awesome videos of on-the-water action. Like ones from YouTuber Nick Stanley, for example. Selfie stick in hand, this dude looks like he’s having the time of his life just sailing over the water in his customized mini boat.
I’ll let him explain all of the awesome stuff he did to it.
This is my 1988 Addictor 333 mini boat. It came with an 40hp Nissan outboard motor. Throughout the past two years I have completely restored and modernized this mini with a custom retrofitted SeaDoo powerplant. I used the 110hp engine, 144mm pump and other equipment from a 1996 SeaDoo XP. I gave it a new paintjob and vinyl graphics, as well as a fully custom interior and aluminum interior frame. The boat has a top speed of 50mph with 2 (LARGE) adults onboard.
How badass is this though? If you don’t think that riding around on this thing would be one of the funnest things of all time, sorry to break it to you, but you’re probably dead inside.
Don’t want, NEED a mini boat like this. So pardon me while I search the world wide web for a place where I can get me one of these things.
