This video is the perfect example of a situation that could have ended much, much, much worse.
A driver came speeding through a red light and collided with a cop car, cosmic justice, pushing the police car onto the sidewalk and almost into a crowd of people on the sidewalk and effectively terrifying everyone. Thankfully no one was seriously injured.
Now there's no way to tell if the driver actually intended to run the red light. Maybe there was a bee in the glove box, and it escaped. Maybe the driver is extremely allergic to bees and had to frantically flail around to avoid a fatal accident. The driver's life may have actually been saved by hitting that cop, who knows?
No matter the cause, that man/woman totally got a ticket.
