JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --
A person who works for the company that owns the truck gave Action News pictures and said it was sideswiped going north on I-95.
Troopers say the truck hit some sort of divot and went airborne. The driver had leg injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The big moment of removing the truck from the tree came as a tow truck took the role of a fishing reel, snagging the delivery truck, and pulling it out of the tree and back onto the ground.
The crash backed up traffic on I-95 for miles through part of the afternoon. Eventually the truck recovery turned into landscaping. Road crews with chainsaws cut away tree branches and limbs to get the truck towed off.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue joined efforts with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department in responding to the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol said charges in the crash are pending. - See more at: http://www.actionnewsjax.com/news/news/local/vodka-truck-ends-tree-after-crash-i-95/nk2DH/#sthash.bZ7N6Xnt.dpuf
