This is apparently one of the first filmed crash tests of a stretch limousine. Limousine’s aren’t really known for their safety measures. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone, aside from the driver, actually wear a seat belt in one. Everyone’s always moving around. They’re absurdly heavy and ungainly to drive. And to top it all off, they’re basically normal sedans or luxury cars that are simply cut in half and “tubed” up in the middle to gain the extra room. All of that spells UNSAFE with those capital letters. This crash test shows that they may be a bit more durable than previously thought.
