There are some things you just can't teach in drivers' ed and this is one of them.

In this video we see a compact car being driven by a new driver on a rainy day. There are two left turning lanes and this newbie decides to pass the truck ahead and take the outer lane in hopes of speeding this trip along. During the turn they lose control, start spinning out and over correct and end up rolling over into a ditch. The punishment does not seem to fit the crime as merely passing a truck before a turn is something we all do.

Controlling a car during a loss of traction is definitely not something that's practiced in driving school but after watching this video maybe it should be. Hopefully everyone is ok but maybe its time to visit an empty parking lot late at night for some lessons on drifting.
