[VIDEO] ‘Frankenstein’s Monster’ Is A 1000 HP Celica With 2 Different GT-Rs Inside YouTube

Jamie Heritage’s TA22 Toyota Celica may look like a proper ’71 Celica on the outside, but underneath the hood and frame it’s hiding bits and pieces of two generations of Skyline GT-R. The Celica’s drivetrain couldn’t handle all of the turbo power Heritage had initially installed almost a decade ago, so he substituted the gearsets from an R34 GT-R and the rear differential from an R-33 to build a working AWD system capable of dealing with the nearly 1000 horsepower the twin-turbo 1UZ engine can muster on a whim. The total package has a top speed of nearly 193 miles per hour but Heritage hopes with the right adjustments that his car can sprint past 200 miles per hour no problem.
