Chase Briscoe will lead the field to the green flag on Sunday afternoon at Iowa Speedway (3:30 p.m. ET on USA Network).
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver won the pole at the .875-mile track with a lap of 23.004 seconds. This is his sixth pole of the season and his fifth in the last 11 Cup Series races.
William Byron, who finished second in last season's Iowa race, qualified second during Saturday's session with a lap of 23.088 seconds. This marked his fourth time this season securing a spot on the front row for a Cup Series race. Byron won the pole in two races and qualified second for two others.

The rest of the top five included Kyle Larson (23.089), Austin Cindric (23.101), and Brad Keselowski (23.151).
Ryan Blaney, the defending Iowa winner, qualified sixth with a lap of 23.151 seconds. The rest of the top 10 included Carson Hocevar (23.159), Chase Elliott (23.165), AJ Allmendinger (23.174), and Justin Haley (23.198).
Thirty-six of the 37 drivers on the entry list made their qualifying laps on Saturday afternoon. The only one who did not take part was Kyle Busch. The two-time Cup Series champion crashed hard into the outside wall during practice, which forced Richard Childress Racing to break out the backup car.
Busch was not the only driver who had issues during Saturday's on-track sessions. Denny Hamlin made some contact with the outside wall, but he avoided damage before qualifying 11th overall.
Todd Gilliland and Tyler Reddick also had control issues during their on-track sessions. Gilliland qualified 34th after nearly hitting the wall. Reddick qualified 22nd after sliding sideways. He saved the No. 45 and kept it out of the wall.
Briscoe and the other Cup Series drivers will line up for Sunday's race shortly after 3:30 p.m. ET. They will take part in pre-race ceremonies, starting with driver introductions at 2:50 p.m. ET. They will then climb into their cars after the opening prayer and the national anthem at 3:30.
The command to fire engines will take place at 3:38 p.m. ET. They will then take the green flag at 3:47 p.m. ET. USA Network will provide coverage for all of the action on Sunday as NBC Sports takes over the broadcasts.
