CW Sports is building out its broadcast lineup as the NASCAR Xfinity Series season continues. Several Cup Series stars are getting in on the action.
According to an announcement, eight Cup drivers will join the lineup led by play-by-play man Adam Alexander for upcoming races. Austin Cindric will be the first as he heads to the booth for the May 31 Xfinity Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.
Ross Chastain will then join Alexander in the booth for the Xfinity return to Mexico City on June 14. Ryan Blaney will follow at Pocono Raceway on June 21. Kyle Busch will then return to the Xfinity booth for his second race of the season after making his debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He will help call the Atlanta Motor Speedway event on June 27.
The lineup will also include AJ Allmendinger in Chicago (July 5), Christopher Bell at Sonoma Raceway (July 12), Denny Hamlin at Dover Motor Speedway (July 19), and Kyle Larson at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (July 26).

This group of guest analysts includes drivers who have won numerous races across the three national NASCAR series. Four of these drivers have won championships in at least one series. One of these drivers is the winningest in professional stock car racing, while another is the active leader in road course wins across the national series.
Why would the broadcast booth add Busch to its Atlanta lineup? The simple answer is that he has won 13 times at the Georgia track. Eleven of these wins were on the old configuration. Busch's last two wins at Atlanta (Truck Series) were on the drafting-style configuration.
Putting Hamlin in the broadcast booth for Dover is a fitting choice. After all, he has two Xfinity Series wins and two Cup Series wins at the concrete track. He also has two runner-up finishes at Dover in Xfinity.
Similarly, Blaney is a logical choice for the Pocono Raceway broadcast booth. This is the track where he scored his first career Cup Series win. He added another Pocono win last season. Blaney also has a Truck Series win at the Tricky Triangle.
Of course, Larson has been associated with Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the last three seasons. He has competed at the 2.5-mile track twice in the NTT IndyCar Series while attempting The Double, and he won the Brickyard 400 after NASCAR brought the crown jewel event back to the schedule last season.
