Fox Sports and the NTT IndyCar Series have reached an agreement to shift broadcast times for five upcoming races. This move will include a historic change for the open-wheel racing series.
According to a press release, the Father's Day race at World Wide Technology Raceway will shift to primetime. It will air on June 15 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. This will mark the first-ever Sunday night primetime race for the NTT IndyCar Series.
Moving the IndyCar race at WWT Raceway prevents an earlier conflict with the NASCAR Cup Series. The top drivers in stock car racing will take on Mexico City for the first time on June 15 at 3 p.m. ET. With the schedule change, racing fans can now watch the road course NASCAR race in Mexico City (Prime Video) and then the oval IndyCar race (Fox).
Updated Broadcast times:
- World Wide Technology Raceway on Sunday, June 15, at 8 p.m. ET (Fox). NASCAR is in Mexico City on June 15.
- Road America on Sunday, June 22, at 1:30 p.m. ET (Fox). NASCAR is at Pocono Raceway on June 22.
- Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Sunday, July 6, at 1 p.m. ET (Fox). NASCAR is on the streets of Chicago on July 6.
- Iowa Speedway on Sunday, July 13, at 1 p.m. ET (Fox). NASCAR is at Sonoma Raceway on July 13.

"This is a massive primetime showcase under the lights for the stars of the NTT IndyCar Series," said IndyCar President J. Douglas Boles. "This is also a tremendous display of partnership from both Fox Sports and our friends at World Wide Technology Raceway, who've worked with us to generate this exciting opportunity for our sport.
"Race weekend in St. Louis is just a month away, and fans in venue and around the country are in for a real treat when IndyCar arrives in town."
The schedule changes also affect the second-tier Indy NXT by Firestone series. Three events will move to new times. The race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will also move from FS2 to FS1.
