NASCAR has set the starting lineup for Saturday's Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway after rain canceled the qualifying session.
The rain technically stopped prior to Xfinity practice and qualifying, but the teams were not able to take part in the session. The persistent weepers prevented the crews from fully drying the track.

As a result, Austin Hill will start from the pole for Saturday's race at Texas Motor Speedway. He won last weekend's race at Talladega Superspeedway. The last race on the schedule accounts for 70% of the starting lineup metric. Owners' points account for the other 30%.
Points leader Justin Allgaier will line up on the front row next to Hill. Jesse Love and Jeb Burton will make up the second row after posting podium finishes last weekend at Talladega.
The rest of the top 10 includes Harrison Burton, Sheldon Creed, Sam Mayer, Matt DiBenedetto, Daniel Dye, and Anthony Alfredo. Kyle Larson, who replaces an injured Connor Zilisch, will line up 20th.
Mayer and Harrison Burton are the only two drivers in the field with a previous Xfinity Series win at Texas Motor Speedway.
Dawson Cram and CJ McLaughlin controlled the entries lowest in the owner standings, so they will not qualify for the 38-car field. The rain and persistent weepers prevented them from trying to beat other drivers.
The lack of qualifying creates issues for Xfinity Series drivers. They will not have any laps on the slick, treacherous surface before taking the green flag, so they will just have to hope that they brought the correct setups. If not, they will be in for a long day, considering the difficulty in passing.
"I've had some decent runs at Texas in the past, and I'm hoping we have an even better run there this weekend," Josh Williams said in a release from Kaulig Racing.
"It's definitely hard to pass there, and if it's hot, track position is going to be even more important than it usually is. We'll make it easier on ourselves throughout the race if we have a good qualifying run, so we'll get the Alloy Employer Services Chevy tuned up on Friday for it."
