How to watch Kevin Harvick compete in CARS Tour race

Kevin Harvick gets back into a race car this weekend during a CARS Tour race at North Wilkesboro Speedway. This will open up the opportunity for the future NASCAR Hall of Famer to compete at the revitalized North Carolina short track.

The race takes place on Saturday, Aug. 3. The zMAX CARS Tour regulars and Harvick will have practice at 11:30 a.m. ET and qualifying at 6 p.m. ET.

They will then take part in a driver autograph session at 6:45 p.m. ET. Pre-race ceremonies and driver introductions will take place at 7:45 p.m. ET. The Pro Late Model Race will be at 8 p.m. ET. The Late Model Stock Car race will be at 10 p.m. ET.

Tickets are still available for the day of racing at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Tickets for fans 13 and older are $38.00. Tickets for children 12 and under are $13.00.

Those unable to travel to North Wilkesboro Speedway for the race can watch via a FloRacing subscription. There are two payment options for the streaming platform boasting more than 1,200 annual racing events.

A monthly subscription to FloRacing will cost users $39.99. The annual plan is $159. The annual plan is a larger payment up front, but it drops the monthly price to $13.25.

The race at North Wilkesboro is the second of two starts announced by Harvick in early June. The 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion announced that he would first drive the No. 62 Chevrolet for Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) at Five Flags Speedway on June 28. He would then return for this weekend's race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Harvick finished 13th at Five Flags Speedway while Bubba Pollard won the race. Fellow Cup champion Chase Elliott finished 16th.

Harvick will be back in the No. 62 as he aims to deliver a stronger performance against the CARS Tour regulars. He will do so at a track that he believes holds great importance to the series he co-owns.

"From a Cars Tour standpoint, we need a backbone race track of our series to be able to say, 'Hey, this is kind of the marketplace of where we race,'" Harvick said after a test session, per North Wilkesboro Speedway. "And that is North Wilkesboro.

"I think with everything that Dale (Earnhardt Jr.) has done at North Wilkesboro Speedway and SMI and everybody to bring North Wilkesboro back, the Cars Tour and North Wilkesboro Speedway go hand in hand. So to be a part of that means a lot for our series. It means a lot to me to be a part of the event. And I think we're pretty lucky to have a racetrack like this to kind of be the marquee event of the Cars Tour."
