As much as we love giving little ones the opportunity to enjoy a good ol' snow day, we can only truly enjoy it if they're prepared for freezing temperatures. When to Buy Snow Pants on Sale
Many outdoor and winter apparel brands begin to mark down clothing during Black Friday. Now, winter enthusiasts will argue and say those aren't even the best sales.
The Krazy Coupon Lady says REI is generous from January through March. Her findings were based on a sale last year, however, it's typical for brands to mark down clothing around the same time each year.
She also recommended shopping Macy's Last Act clearance section in February for The North Face and Columbia apparel.
Are you a bit surprised? Most may think it's time to shop in the summer. That may be true, but if you'd like a head start before people begin bundling up in fall and winter, shopping now through March sounds like a great idea.

These snow bibs are perfect for little boys who love camo! The one-piece might not be a favorite if kids are only used to boys' snow pants, however, the style might help little ones appreciate cozy bibs.
There's another camo pattern to choose from, along with a few other colors. The $31 toddler boys' bibs are machine washable and water-resistant, making them perfect for snowy and rainy days.

These little girl snow pants are from Roxy, one of my favorite clothing brands as a kid. The toddler girls' pants are available in 8-16 year-old-fits.

I am obsessed with the color options to choose from! These pants are perfect for trips to Colorado. They're water-resistant and have a built-in technology to increase the cuff length by two inches allowing for re-use in your family. The handwarmer pockets and top-notch insulation are also a plus. My only con is that they're not machine washable.
Best Machine Washable Bib (Girls)

These snow bib overalls are similar to the option above. However, you can put these kids' snow bibs in the washing machine! They have an elastic waistband and adjustable straps for comfort and the perfect fit. Not only are they easy to put on and adjust, but they're also easy to take off.
No one likes bulky winter gear that's tough to get out of! They're also water-resistant and highly insulated. I recommend making water-resistant and water-repellent activewear part of your winter apparel checklist.
