Back in August, Otto, the self-driving trucking startup, partnered with Uber, the ride-sharing company that is now pioneering self-driving cars. Naturally, they wanted to find a show-stopping way to display their trucks’ capabilities and technology, and what better way to do that than to have one of their driverless tractor trailers deliver America’s most iconic beer brand, Budweiser? The successful 120-mile run saw the beer shipped from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs, all without a driver in the front seat. Welcome to the future, folks.
