Modern sports cars have some great things going for them when compared to their classic brethren. Performance, efficiency, safety and comfort have all improved by leaps and bounds in modern cars. But there is something older cars will forever have over modern ones in the style category: Pop-up headlights.


Pop-up headlights have been around forever and were all the rage in the 80’s, early 90’s and, if you are a Corvette fan, well into the early 2000’s. Unfortunately, pedestrian safety regulations (And a lack of taste in our opinion) have effectively killed of the design element. But what if is was still around?

Clearly, we need to petition automakers to bring these things back because some of these look absolutely perfect. Some work better than others though. Looking at you, Porsche. Woof.
